A voluntary organization working for dignity, opportunity and self-reliance in West Bengal.
Our beginnings
RESQUE AND OXYGEN SOCIETY was started in 2008 under the leadership of Debasish Mondal, together with motivated local young people. Inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s vision of a compassionate society, the organization set out to create opportunities for community development.
People and their participation remain at the heart of our work. We support communities in developing the confidence and capacity to lead their own progress.
